Robert Hamman is a 2024 RHP with a 6-1 167 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Hillcrest. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise and tuck, tall and fall mechanics with good direction down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot creates good angle, faster pace that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, has been up to 88 mph at previous PG events, has nice cutting action at times, did a good job establishing his fastball and working ahead in counts. Curveball was a solid pitch for him, hitters didn't recognize it well, landed the curveball very consistently. Had a clean and dominant outing. Polished right hander with more in the tank as he gets stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Kansas State.
