Jesse Worthy is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Alexander City, AL who attends Benjamin Russell. Tall, lean frame. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good lateral mobility for the size and age, worked best to his right, clean backhand, long arm swing and a solid arm across. Was accurate, showed fundamentally sound actions working around the ball. Recorded throws across up to 64 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stomach high leg lift, lands on line with the plate, medium length arm action to a three-quarters slot. Young arm speed, gets a little inconsistent with his release point causing him to lose the zone. Fastball got up to 68 mph (1773 RPM) and mixed in a bigger shaped curveball, up to 61 mph (1449 RPM). Right-handed hitter, narrow base with the front side slightly closed in the stance, longer swing, swing path gets inconsistent. Struggled to get timed up consistently, when in rhythm he impacted the ball to the middle of the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
