Weston Cockrum is a 2024 RHP/1B/MIF with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster. Large frame with some strength to build. Ran an 8.01 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, fairly deliberate delivery with clean movements, longer arm stroke to a high three-quarters release, good run to the fastball and works in on right-handed hitters with comfort, not afraid to move the fastball around, showed good shape on 12-to-6 shape breaking ball with projectable spin, good strikes and some projection. Also plays first base and infield, works hard to and through the ball, has some quickness into his release at bot hspotsd and arm strength plays well. Right-handed hitter, longer swing but real intent to leverage and impact pull side, can get stuck on the back side but has the strength in the upper half to create strong contact with more consistency.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
