Jason Durrett is a 2025 RHP/IF/C with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Has a loose arm on the mound from a 3/4's arm stroke, well paced delivery with good direction to the plate, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some short running life. Threw a firm slider that got off the barrel well but wasn't a present swing/miss pitch. Threw strikes with both pitches. Graded out higher as a position player at this event. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder with third base tools and actions, fields the ball cleanly out front, tends to stab the glove to the backhand, gets good extension on his throws with plenty of carry. Right handed hitter, has an inward knee tap trigger into his load, well balanced swing with good rhythm, turns hard and gets good extension out front, showed his power in the games with a pair of home runs. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
