Jorge Cordero is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Apollo. Posted a 7.80 in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic actions and projectable body, plays the right side clean with good footwork to both sides. Short arm action, does not generate much force through the bag and released some off target. Soft hands work clean, hesitant glove plays behind the ball but fields well. Right handed pitcher, showed loose actions and uses the lengthy frame well. Gets to a short 3/4 release working out of an uptempo operation. High leg kick gets downhill will intent with a quick stride and release, difficult timing has and slight crossfire action paired well adding deceptive value. Ran the fastball up to 77 mph and flashed a loose breaking ball that landed. Right handed hitter, spread stance with squared shoulders to start. Soft barrel through the zone, no weight shift involved very hand dominant leaking the frontside. No present timing established. Has time to fill in the strength gaps and develop more fluid pieces in the mechanics.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
