Brody Dobecka is a 2024 OF/1B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Roanoke, TX who attends Byron Nelson. Slender young build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a balanced base, short and quick swing path, sees the ball well and shows nice barrel control, lined numerous base hits to the opposite field and mid field during the games. 7.14 runner in the sixty, moves to the ball well in the outfield and has soft hands fielding, developing arm strength from a very compact arm action, would likely be a second baseman if he were right handed. Very good student.
