Diego Gonzalez is a 2025 SS/2B with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Placentia, CA who attends El Dorado. Slender frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary Infielder, moved well laterally to both sides of the ball, had soft hands with a quick transfer and release. Was comfortable throwing from multiple arm angles. Also worked out in the outfield, came to the ball well, moved well laterally but it still developing outfield actions. Left-handed hitter, consistently squared the ball up, displayed good bat speed, has a level swing that stays long through the zone. The swing will continue to get better as he gets older. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
