Cooper Griffith is a 2022 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Hebron. Strong and physical build. Ran the sixty in 7.77 seconds. A primary 1B who showed softness to his hands when making plays to both sides of his body. Fundamentally sound footwork around the bag and he had clean actions starting the double play. His top throw across the diamond was clocked at 76 mph. At the plate he hits from a narrow, open stance. Showed strong hands and wrists along with a swing with plenty of loft in the path and is geared towards elevating with authority. On the mound he throws from an OH arm slot with a medium arm circle. His FB peaked at 81 mph but plays above that due to the life it has through the zone. CB showed a deep 12/6 shape with solid tightness and bite to it. Both pitches missed bats in the zone. Good student in the classroom as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
