2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Jason Darling is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Springs. Long and lean with a medium current build, some twitch to his actions and a lot to look forward to with future physical development. Ran the 60 yard dash in an intriguing 6.83 seconds. Primary position OF, with quick feet and hop to his approach to the ball, leading him to a deep funnel as he transitions to throw. Showed a quick arm with present strength generating throws up to 85 mph to the bases. Accuracy was on point with most deliveries. RHH working from an even stance, initially in his legs and extending out of base as he works the bat head to contact. Emerging overall barrel control, creating nice backspin line drives when on time in the middle of the field. Displayed some loft to the pull side gap and will create more consistent power as he fills out his frame. Good student and potential two-way athlete in the future.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
