Starling Beverding is a 2023 RHP/C/1B with a 6-5 217 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball. Tall and physical frame. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a three pitch-mix out of a compact delivery and three-quarter arm slot. Fastball consistently in the 80's, topping out at 85 with some arm side run. Maintains arm speed on the change up with late drop and showed some feel for locating a beginning stages slider. Showed the ability to move well around the bag defensively at first base with softer hands, and above average arm strength. A left handed hitter that hit from a slightly open stance. Uphill bat path with developing feel for the barrel and some ability to lift the baseball to the middle of the field. Great student.
