Mason Schirmer is a 2025 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Festus, MO who attends Festus. Big and strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a short stride into contact, works off a hard front side, has loose hands and a whippy barrel, has lift in his swing and is looking to pull the ball and turns over the barrel well. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good athletic quickness, makes accurate throws with big arm strength for the position. Also took the mound for a couple of hitters, fastball worked in the upper 80's from a high 3/4's arm slot, landed a big slow curveball well. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri.
