Aaron Kniffin is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Slender build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 6.79 seconds. Primary outfielder, very athletic, comes to the ball well and moved well, was very light on his feet. His speed allowed him to cover a lot of ground in the outfield. Was clocked up to 82 mph on throws from the outfield. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 73-80 mph. The fastball had different looks, at times is would sink and other times is had some cut to it. Threw strikes and generated a lot of swing and misses. Right-handed hitter, hits from an even base with a big leg kick and the hands sit high by ear. Showed the ability to use the middle of the field well, everything was hit gentle up the middle. The swing is long with a natural loft. Excellent student. Was named to the Southwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
