Carson Quillen is a 2025 C/RHP/IF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Greeneville, TN who attends Greeneville. Strong and compact athletic build, pretty mature physically. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball well and has soft hands, deep transfer on his throws, has nice arm strength and carry, can get more directional with his footwork throwing, plenty athletic enough to continue to develop behind the plate. Also plays third base when not catching, has solid athletic actions there with arm strength and good lower half actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a rotational upper body swing, stays short to the ball, level line drive swing with mostly pull side contact, high contact swing approach. Also pitched, works from a high 3/4's arm slot with good angle to his pitches, fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight, showed good depth on his slider at times. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
