Samuel Pease is a 2023 C with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Fort Collins, CO who attends Fossil Ridge. Medium build with good present strength. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who has all the physical tools for the postion, has quick feet and comes out of his crouch well, compact arm action with a quick release, plenty of next level arm strength with carry and accuracy. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance, hits from the ground up with very good hip action, direct to the ball and extended out front through contact, showed feel for the barrel and keeps things simple and on time, present bat speed and the ability to impact the ball with some lift at contact. Solid all around player with a bright future. Very good student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
