Evan Russell is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan. Physical build with present size and filled out upper half. Ran a 7.27 in the sixty. Right-handed pitcher, bit spread on first base side works a high leg lift into a high three-quarter slot. Big arm speed from a short, compact arm. Super short but jump out of hand. Good life and low-90s offering. Maintains arm speed on the slider but has late depth and action to it. Good bite to it. Both offerings missed bats with ease. Arm strength carried to outfield and first base drills. Great carry out of hand from both spots. Quick first step and good turn at first. Gets in the middle well. Big arm strength on display and carries to the bag from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with small stride. Rotates hard and has strength to the pull side. Heaviness to the hands and gets into his size well;. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
