Jonah Utash is a 2027 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Bosque Farms, NM who attends ASU Preparatory Academy. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showed the ability to move well laterally. Still developing consistent quickness through the transfer and into release. Arm strength stands out, creating strong carry across. Threw 81 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with an open base. Swings on a lofted path with good extension out front. Shows the ability to drive balls in the air consistently. Has solid gap to gap power present with more coming down the line. Right-handed pitcher. Displays a loose arm action. Hides it well into release. Fastball sat 78-80 mph with ride through the zone. Pairs it with a mid-60’s curveball showing slurve action. Spins it well, recording spin rates over 2200 rpm. Showed the ability to pound the zone with both offerings. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Spring Southwest Showcase Top Prospects List.
