2023 Florida Workout Showcase (Friday)
Lee Ellis is a 2025 SS/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Suncoast Community. A bigger build and frame with some physicality to him. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who moves fine with a clean transfer through the middle of the body, working into throws from a three-quarters slot. Threw 85 mph across the infield. The glove worked, and made the plays with smooth throws and fluid actions overall. A right-handed hitter with an even base, slightly open feet, and a physical box presence overall. The hands get deep in the load, using a leg lift trigger to get on time. Sinks slightly into his load and drives the ball. Able to get to the hands out front and work to the pull-side the most. His hands worked well and in sync with his lower half. Great student. Named to 2023 Florida Workout Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
