Sebastian Gonzalez is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Oakley, CA who attends Berean Christian. Slender athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with a tall and fall delivery. He gets down the mound well, hides the ball well throughout his delivery. The fastball sat 84-87 mph with slight arm side run. Threw a lot of strikes and attacked hitters early, was able to locate well to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a slider that sat 71-75 mph with tight spin and late break displayed some swing and miss ability. Worked out in the outfield, came to the ball well, displayed a strong ar with accurate throws. Also worked out at first base, displayed good hands and foot work with a quick transition and a cannon of an arm. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide even base with a toe tap and high hands. Displayed some pull side pop, has a quick swing with a downward angle. Great student. Was named to the Fall Northern California Top Prospect List.
