2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ben Bryant is a 2025 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Smyrna, TN who attends Stewarts Creek. Ben shows good mobility around first base on defense. With added strength and maturity his arm strength has room to improve. Offensively, Ben has an advanced skill set of making consistent contact with some force behind it. His narrow base and slight uphill swing needs to be balanced out in the future, but his linear bat path and ability to hit the middle of the baseball allows him to create leverage and hit some balls deep and with power. A primary pull hitter now, some training on using more of the field will make him a more dangerous hitter as he continues to develop. Ben is an outstanding student in the classroom. Bryant was named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
