Zion Waddell is a 2025 2B/SS with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Tarzana, CA who attends Daniel Pearl Magnet. Young athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.72 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good footwork and shows some range to both sides, gets his glove down early and into good position, sound overall fundamentals, arm strength best suited for second base at this point in his development. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and spread stance with a toe tap load, high hand start creates some length to his swing, high finish and extension out front, worked mostly to the middle of the field. Excellent student.
