LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Carson Klostermann is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen. Posted an 8.11 in the 60. Primary SS is a young build with actions heading in the right direction as he progresses. He moves well to both sides and the hands are soft through the play. Young arm action for now with plenty of time to refine. On the mound the right-hander topped the fastball at 71 with developing feel to spin the breaking ball. The delivery is clean and works downhill with a short arm action. The breaking ball holds a loose 11/5 shape at times, has some younger tendencies but should advance smoothly. Right-handed hitter starts with a narrow base, showed an idea for the barrel spraying contact to all fields while the process establishes timing. Showed some moving parts across his tools to grow into with plenty of potential ahead.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
