Brody Mann is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Ashville, OH who attends Teays Valley. Tall and slender young build with lots of room to add strength. Primary catcher on defense, compact arm action with a quick release on his throws, can continue to work on his lower half quickness and athleticism. Also plays the infield. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a long and fluid swing, rock back/rock in shift, tends to lean out over the plate and loose his direction, handles the barrel well and works the ball to all fields. Also pitched, compact catcher's arm action on the mound. Slider was his best pitch, gets good spin on the pitch and lands it consistently for strike. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, also with occasional cutting action. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
