Ridge Southerland is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-4 212 lb. frame from Benton, AR who attends Bryant High School. Extra large frame and build with a good amount of physicality present on the frame. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift up past the belt with fluidity to motion. Full and clean arm stroke through the back and hides it some upon release. Strides a bit closed with the front landing leg and located mostly to the arm side in terms of overall command. Fastball peaked at 94 mph and lived in the low-90s throughout. Flashed some big ride and carry up to 20" of IVB. Changeup in the low-80s showed some short sink to it. Really kills spin on the changeup. Breaking ball showed slurvy shape with flashes of big drop. Solid three pitch mix with good quality to the fastball. Good student. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
