Ryan Vandenbrink is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Tualatin, OR who attends West Linn. Strong athletic build. Primary catcher on defense, game actions in drills, gets low behind the plate and has good flexibility, comes out of his crouch well, makes accurate throws, arm works well, has a history of receiving elite level arms. Right handed hitter, has an early stride into contact but holds his coil well and fires on time, short swing with some extension at contact, hits under control, hard mid field to pull side line drive contact. Fundamentally strong player with some tools. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.
