Trevor Ainsworth is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland High School. Physical with square shoulders and good length. Primary pitcher who works downhill and in line well. Works over the front side well. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a quick release and arm. Fastball comes out easy with late hop and ride through the zone. Fastball was up to 90 and was located well within the zone. Mixed in a good-looking slider with bite and late horizontal action. Could command this pitch well. Also flashed a change/splitter with good drop. Has an idea on how to sequence and tunnel his pitches. Highly projectable. Good student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
