Andrew Salas is a 2025 C/RHP/1B with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Rio Grande. Thick frame with good size. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.56 seconds. Primary catcher, has a square set up, decent foot work and gains ground on his throws. Had soft accurate throws down to second base, with a 2.37 pop time. On the mound, has a easy compact arm with a quick over the top release. Threw strikes, worked at a good pace and creates soft contact outs. At the plate, has a soft swing with a downward path. Excellent student.
