Ethan Castro is a 2023 2B/SS, MIF, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Garden Grove, CA who attends Loara high school. Big framed corner infielder that displayed quality foot work throughout defensive workouts to match with a sound glove. The savvy to keep the center of gravity low through the lateral movements was impressive and showed off developing arm strength. At the dish, he sets up with even base, slightly open, high hands, and back elbow. The load is a moderate leg kick that gains solid separation. He extended well to impact. The rhythm of the swing is comfortable; incorporating a sizable lower half. 7.60 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
