Caden Liner is a 2024 C/RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Highland Park. Posted 8.20 in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, has a good idea for his action and decent quick movements. More footwork to build on but shows good catch and throw mechanics. In the infield the actions are loose and plays back some. Limited downhill action, more footwork to come should leap his defensive tool. Also pitched, the right-hander was up to 76 with the fastball mixing a developing breaking ball around 60-63 flashing a couple different planes. Was primarily working the fastball that had some good arm side life, when he got the best of his breaking ball it had fine 11-5 shape with depth. Started showing a better feel to repeat his operation later in his outing. Right-handed hitter, flashed some strength and carry up the middle in his best connections. Uses a toe tap trigger showing good timing, has a good idea for the barrel and gets a full path across. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
