Ben McLean is a 2024 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Bishop Lynch. Medium frame with a compact strong build. Ran an 8.03 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, athletic and flexible lower half, receives well out front and works through it with good intent, gains ground during his transfers and gets rid of it quick with solid arm strength producing strong pop times. Righthanded hitter, even base and a simple move in, high hand load and works with smoothness and fluidity to get on plane, has good present bat speed and translates to creating solid impact that projects. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
