Jose Ruiz is a 2026 3B/OF with a 5-6 138 lb. frame from Orlando, FL. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Runs well for his age, 7.48 in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, has some young foot quickness and developing side to side range, arm works well and raw arm strength will continue to improve with additional strength, also plays some outfield. Right handed hitter, upper body rotational swing with limited lower half use, front side opens early to pull the barrel through, gets extended through the zone and has some young hand strength at times, mid field to opposite field contact. Excellent student.
