Josh Hale is a 2026 OF/IF with a 5-11 182 lb. frame from Oak Ridge, NJ who attends Jefferson Twp. Hale works from a broad build with strength present in the lower half. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he displayed reliable glove work with refining routes to the baseball, ultimately topping out at 64 mph. He attempted to stay on top of throws with more arm strength coming as the front shoulder stays closed in the mechanics. Has plenty of time to develop and mature as a '26 prospect. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a compact hand set, effectively peppering the middle of the field with line drive contact. He shifted the weight well through impact and repeated the stroke well. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
