William H Taylor is a 2024 MIF/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, OF with a 6-1 174 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Columbus. Tall, lean player with a good amount of room to add strength. 7.23 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a toe tap trigger stride, steep entry into the zone with level bat path through the zone. Should continue to grow into some power as he fills the frame and uses the lower half more. Primary middle infielder, has first step quickness with clean hands out front, longer arm swing to a high release, worked better to his backhand, working through grounders with a good arm, throws up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with some projectability there. Side steps to a higher leg lift in the windup, longer arm swing in the back to a high three-quarters release. Fastball up to 77 mph (2013 RPM) and changeup up to 70 (1824 RPM) were thrown in the outing. Also worked out in the outfield, has good actions working through the ball with a one hand gather on the side, has a longer arm swing to a high release. Carries the weight through throws with a good, accurate arm. Excellent Student. Named to 2022 Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
