Shane Miranda is a 2025 C/UT with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends St. Augustine. Physical build with present strength and size to frame. Ran a 7.65 in the sixty yard dash. Primary catcher who popped a 1.94 time in drills. Quicker out of the crouch and gains ground. Good carry out of the hand with accurate throws to the bag, very solid round. Left-handed hitter, wide base with small stride step. Fast bat with impact strength to the pull side. Looks to impact it with backspin and carry, opens the hips and unloads through the zone with plenty of intent. Lots to like in profile.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
