Sam Erickson is a 2024 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound. Big and strong athletic build, running back look. Very good runner, 6.47 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well with confident glove work, athletic actions into his throws, solid arm strength. Right handed hitter, crouches into his swing and gets into his lower half, works from the ground up, has bat speed and the ball comes off his barrel hard, line drive swing plane and contact, stays behind the ball and works to all fields, not much lift or back spin now but that could come in the future. Plus athlete who performed in the games. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
