Joseph Dawson is a 2024 2B/MIF, OF with a 5-9 159 lb. frame from Midland, GA who attends St. Anne-Pacelli. Smaller build with twitchy athleticism. 7.23 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter with a wide, open base and high hands, creates short separation in the load with quick hands and direct path through the zone. Worked right back up the middle in the approach with good feel for the barrel. Primary second baseman, hands work very well out front with an efficient exchange and ability to change arm slots. Has good lateral mobility and range with a solid arm, extremely accurate to the bag, throws up to 76 mph. Excellent student.
