Kai Tullos is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Greer, SC who attends Riverside. Sturdy corner frame. Defensively, at first base he preps well with clean glove work and quality footwork around the bag. Fed the double play ball accurately to second. At the plate, he sets up with even base, slightly open stance and high hands. The swing is compact with some pull side juice. Inconsitent timing lead to inconsistent impact but looked good when timed up. On the mound, he deliver out of a full windup with belt high lift and short stride down the slope. Over the top release with consistent cutting action to the fastball that lives on the outer third. Forces lots of weak contact with the heater alone. Breaker features 12-6 shape with lots of vertical depth. Held velocity range well throughout the outing. 7.25 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
