Diego Sanchez is a 2023 C/1B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Alvarado. Lean, athletic build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.27 seconds. A primary catcher, he uses a side saddle setup and does a nice job of using his lower half throughout. His best pop time was recorded at 1.88 seconds and his top velocity on his throws was 81 mph from behind the dish and 79 mph from the OF. In the OF he showed fluid and smooth actions when fielding balls and soft hands when fielding balls on the ground. At the plate he showed solid bat speed through the zone and aggressive intent in his strokes. The bat path has significant loft to it and is geared for putting the ball in the air. Also an excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
