Dylan Smith is a 2024 SS with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Blue Springs, MO who attends Blue Springs. Very slender build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.95 runner in the sixty. Showed good hands on defense in the middle infield, makes accurate throws, has the skills to make the routine plays, developing raw arm strength. Also went through drills in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a small leg raise load, gets to his front side well, swings hard and showed some ability to square up the ball, simple repeatable swing, projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger, has a good base to build from. Good student.
