Eli Shelton is a 2022 RHP with a 6-1 140 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends St. John Paul II Catholic. Long and lean frame with good physical projection. Ran a 7.42 second 60-yard dash. Righthanded pitcher only, works down the mound with a good line to the plate and gets over the front side well. High release and creates some sink to the fastball with effectiveness in the bottom of the zone inducing weak contact. Gets around the slider some but good sweeping bite to it. Projects well overall. Good student.
