Colin Samuels is a 2023 OF/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Desert Mountain. Physical build with present size and strength. Ran a 7.63 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, whippier arm slot packed with good intent in throws. Sound arm strength with carry to the bag. Showed a confident charge in his round and plays it well on a hop. Right-handed hitter, upright stance and wider base with a high back elbow and high hand set. Slightly lofted path produced solid backspin. Good extension and ability to rotate to the pull side. Physical, big hitter with projectable strength in the box as he continues to fill out. Very good student.
