Joshua Tuttle is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Pelham, AL who attends Pelham. Ran a 8.07 second sixty. Primary short stop with a medium athletic build. Presents the hands early on the infield receiving the ball away from the body before funneling not the mid line and traveling into the throws. Showed a lower arm slot with some carry across the diamond making accurate throws. Starts with a side step int a belt high leg lift in the delivery hitting his balance point at the top. Threw from more of a low three-quarters arm slot with a full arm action through the back while staying online to the plate. The fastball sat 64-71 mph with some arm side action and sinking action. The movement on the fastball sets up the breaking ball with more side spin but still showing some depth through the hitting zone. Switch hitter, starts with a wider base on the right side using a toe tap trigger. Creates good separation pre swing with a mostly linear bat path showing developing bat speed through the hitting zone. On the left side its a similar set up with the same toe tap trigger but shows more loft to the bat path with more of a natural ability to get the ball in the air. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
