Cooper Colucia is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Arlington, VA who attends Washington Lee. Medium frame with nice muscular development and a lot of time to refine and add physicality. Primary position IF, showing basic fundamental actions and choppy feet in his approach and angles. Making plays with deliberate actions and working with a full mostly inline arm path to make throws up to 71 mph across the diamond. Emerging dexterity and will refine his actions with time. Secondary RHP, working from the stretch only and on the 1B side of the rubber. Breaks hands at the belly into medium inline arm path and abbreviated leg lift before transition. Compact arm action loading his hand to his ear and throws from there. Likes to spin the ball with CB in the upper-60s and mostly vertical shape. FB up to 73 mph backed up by firmer CH with some run and sink to it. RHH with a balanced start and quiet overall pre-pitch actions. Works a bit uphill on his path to impact but found the barrel a lot. Turns aggressively in the core and helps create his hand speed. Compact swing with good barrel feel. Young athlete with a lot to look forward to, who is a very good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
