Ashton Chronister is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-8 220 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Rogers. Extra-Large frame with long limbs proving to be projectable. Room to fill out physically with a high ceiling from a strength standpoint. Ran a 7.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working into a side step to a belt high lift. Sits on backside a bit before working down the hill. Stays compact throughout the delivery. Medium arm circle to a three-quarter slot release. Creates angle from size. Fastball up to 79 mph with spin rates up to 2072 rpm. Also mixed in a pair of breaking balls. Slider with horizontal movements in low-70's with spin rates up to 1842 rpm. Curveball with depth in the low-60's wit spin rates just shy of 2000 rpm. Did not work out in defensive drills. Right-Handed Hitter, even to start before working into strides. Creates separation and works into swing. Let's the baseball travel before looking to drive it back up the middle on a line. Good Student.
