Mark Williams Jr. is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Indian Head, Maryland, MD who attends Home School. Recorded a 4.20 second thirty yard dash time. Strong and athletic build. Primary first baseman moves through the angles zone with stiffer glove work. Secondary outfielder with a big arm and athletic actions. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from the stretch-only on the first base side of the rubber. Belt-high leg kick with a medium stride down the mound. Hands stay at the chest before accelerating through an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive mechanics with a compact arm action with a fast arm. Explodes out of the lower half well. Fastball (2008 RPM) was up to 85 with arm-side run. Slider (1673 RPM) flashed 11-5 shape and some bigger two-plane depth. Curveball (1645 RPM) had looser spin and 12-6 shape that can freeze hitters because of the speed separation. Going right after hitters and working the upper third of the zone well. Rotates hard but can leak and lets the arm lag behind for arm-side misses. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with an in-line stance and a higher handset with barrel wrap at the top, utilizes a medium leg lift trigger. Tension in the hands with strength at impact. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Good student. Named to the PG Coastal Indoor Top Prospect List.
