Jason Duy is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Minooka, IL who attends Minooka Community. Features a medium build with strength present. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Caught the ball cleanly using soft hands. Works through hops well. Showed good footwork around ground balls. Still developing ability to create consistent momentum into throws. Threw 78 mph across the diamond. Worked out in the outfield too. Arm strength played from the spot. Creates solid carry on high effort throws. Still developing consistent footwork and accuracy on throws. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a simple, small stride load. Swings on an uppercut path. Has some bat speed present. Continuing to develop consistent timing will help increase bat to ball skills. Strength plays when on time. Flashes the ability to generate quality raw power. Right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Uses tall and fall mechanics with a short stride down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot using a shorter arm action. Repeats low effort operation well. The fastball topped out at 77 mph with armside run. Pounds the zone often with the pitch. Paired it with a curveball at 56-62 mph with slurve action. Creates some bite on the offering when thrown with conviction. Also showed a straight changeup at 68-70 mph. Excellent student.
