Raylen Jackson is a 2022 OF/RHP, C, MIF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Seabrook, TX who attends Clear Lake. Primary OF is a lean build with some projection left physically. He shows feel for athletic actions through the play, some strength to build on but mostly fluid movements. His actions behind the dish show knowledge of fundamentals with some play making ability. On the mound he uses a simple operation creating good rhythm and feel for the zone. Spins it effectively, breaking ball plays well with intent. RIght-handed hitter is uses mostly hands to connect. Flat path through the zone, has some pieces to in the swing coming together with room to refine. Good student.
