2024 Sunshine Mid-South Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Jack Harrell is a 2026 MIF/RHP/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Hernando, MS who attends NorthPoint Christian. Smaller young build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick feet and moves well laterally, gets behind balls easily, active feet and works momentum into his throws as well, good glove work with a quick transfer and release, has some arm strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open spread stance with a busy hand load and some hand coil that creates length at times, works the middle of the field with line drive contact, pretty good swing base to build from as he continues to add strength. Also took a turn on the mound, throws from a mid 3/4's arm slot with a fast paced delivery, threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 70 mph. Defense should carry him until he can get stronger.
