Nate Moses is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 138 lb. frame from Laporte, IN who attends Laporte. A taller frame with a high-waisted look. Lean build. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the stretch on the first base side of the rubber during his outing. He comes set with an offset setup, slightly closed. He uses a quick and minimal leg lift as he moves down the slope. Stationary hands round the chest as he gets into his delivery. Throws from a lower three-quarters angle to release, with a bit of a cross-body arm action. The fastball was up to 76 mph with heavy sinking life to it. Also showed a slider with late break and some depth to it, spinning it well up to 2,305 RPMs. Also flashed a harder changeup, killing spin on it. A right-handed hitter with a narrow stance and open base as he sets up, with hands higher and the back elbow up. He generates some separation with a barrel load before working into launch. Elongated path as he gets to contact. He added a hit in-game as well. Also worked out as an outfielder with a compact and shorter arm action through release, with throws at 78 mph from the outfield. Patient on his approach getting extended to it out front. Throws from a more upright position and was longer through his release. Worked out as a first baseman as well. He stayed square to the ball, working through it, and threw 75 mph across the diamond while working out at first base. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
