Gianluca Logan is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Bayonne, NJ who attends St. Peter's Preparatory. Works from a larger frame with some physical strength present. Primary first baseman, gets the glove down on-time and works through the baseball well, has some lateral range, made quick and smooth turns, keeps the arm action short and works into a high three-quarters release point, delivered accurate throws across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a deliberate full wind-up delivery with a lower leg lift that works into a medium stride prior to foot strike, sinks into the lower-half and drives down the mound well. Located the fastball consistently on the corners and topped it out at 73 mph, landed a two-plane breaking ball with gradual depth to it for strikes. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with tight hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger that works into a lofted stroke, creates some strength at impact with consistent contact to both gaps, can work the entire field, recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.74 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
