2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Kaniel Rosado is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Casselberry, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian. Big and strong athletic build with more strength to come. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle to the plate, tall over the rubber with tall and fall mechanics down the mound, can get more from his strong lower half, hides the ball well in his arm action and has some deception. Fastball topped out at 89 mph early, more effective pitching a touch below that, gets some arm side life at times, more velocity there in the future. Threw a soft slurve type slider as his breaking ball, has some spin on it and can be further developed. Tends to lower his slow on his change up that showed life and some feel for the pitch. Competed very well and made in-game adjustments. Very interesting young arm. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama State. Named to the Puerto Rican National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
